The Master Gardeners Plant Clinic will be at the Pflugerville Public Library Fall Plant Swap. They can answer questions on the best plants for the Austin area, lawn care, fertilizers, pest management, landscaping challenges, vegetable gardens, and native plants. Look for their table at the Pflugerville Public Library; 1008 W. Pfluger Street; Pflugerville, Texas 78660, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Due to space limitations a ticket is required. Grow Green is a joint program with the City of Austin Watershed Department and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. The Master Gardener Plant Clinic is a traveling help desk with Travis County Master Gardeners available to answer questions on various horticultural issues.
Master Gardeners are volunteers for the Travis County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension service. In order to become a Master Gardener, each individual receives extensive horticultural training. Master Gardeners use their training and subsequent commitment for continuing education to help Austin area residents with their gardening questions.
