Welcome to the home page for the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Prairie View A&M University Cooperative Extension Program in Travis County. Travis County is located in the heart of Texas and is home to the State Capitol. We had the largest population growth of any county in the state of Texas. According to the 2010 Census, 1,024,266 people call Travis County home, an increase of 26.1 percent.
Our Mission: To improve the lives of people, businesses, and communities through providing high quality, relevant outreach and continuing education programs and services to the residents of Travis County.
Our Goal: To protect the environment, develop youth, strengthen families, improve health, support agriculture, enhance horticulture, and engage communities.
