DESCRIPTION:Soils the Focus on Feb 10th Plant Clinic\nJoin us at the Master Gardener Plant Clinic at Leaf North on February 10th. Travis County Master Gardeners Heather Rudich\, Bob Kunkel\, and Genice Harris will give a talk on Healthy Soils and the Soil Food Web at 10:00 am. They are joined by several other Master Gardeners who can answer questions on  the best plants for the Austin area\, lawn care\, fertilizers\, pest management\, landscaping challenges\, vegetable gardens\, and native plants. Look for their table at the Leaf Landscape Supply North\, 13292 Pond Springs Rd\, Austin\, TX 78729.\n \nIn addition to sharing their experience and training\, several publications are on hand for you to review or take with you. You’ll find the Native and Adapted Landscape Plants Guide along with other timely Grow Green FAQ sheets. Grow Green is a joint program with the City of Austin Watershed Department and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. You can also pick up a copy of the Vegetable Garden Planting Guide and recommended Vegetable Varieties for Central Texas. Several more resources are available online. Look for them out front or in the nursery for the Plant Clinic at Leaf Landscape Supply North. \nWho are Master Gardeners?\nMaster Gardeners are volunteers for the Travis County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension service. In order to become a Master Gardener\, each individual receives extensive horticultural training.
