The Master Gardener Plant Clinic is a traveling help desk with Travis County Master Gardeners available to answer questions on various horticultural issues. You can find a Master Gardener at the Sunset Valley SFC Farmers Market the first Saturday of each month. Most plant clinics also offer an educational activity for children. On this particular day, the activity will be how to build an insect hotel.
Master Gardeners are volunteers for the Travis County AgriLife Extension service. In order to become a Master Gardener, each individual receives extensive horticultural training. Master Gardeners use their training and subsequent commitment for continuing education to help Austin area residents with their gardening questions.
