Master Gardener Plant Clinic at Pflugerville Library Plant Swap June 25th
The Master Gardeners Plant Clinic will be at the Pflugerville Public Library Summer Plant Swap. They can answer questions on the best plants for the Austin area, lawn care, fertilizers, pest management, worm composting, landscaping challenges, vegetable gardens, and native plants. Look for their table at the Pflugerville Public Library; 1008 W. Pfluger Street; Pflugerville, Texas 78660, from 9:30 am to 11 am. In addition to sharing their experience and training, several publications are on hand for you to review or take with you. You’ll find the Native and Adapted Landscape Plants Guide along with other timely Grow Green FAQ sheets. Grow Green is a joint program with the City of Austin Watershed Department and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. What is a Plant Clinic?
The Master Gardener Plant Clinic is a traveling help desk with Travis County Master Gardeners available to answer questions on various horticultural issues.
Who are Master Gardeners?
Master Gardeners are volunteers for the Travis County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension service. In order to become a Master Gardener, each individual receives extensive horticultural training. Master Gardeners use their training and subsequent commitment for continuing education to help Austin area residents with their gardening questions.
